Kids in Action
Sunshine Coast Regional Council, Queensland, Australia
Each year Sunshine Coast Regional Council brings together a host of sponsors and schools to showcase environmental education at its best.
Through the Kids Teaching Kids initiative, schools develop a project over the year and present it at the two day conference. Presentations include dramatisations, static displays, games, etc. On the second day students participate in a field day, which involves live animal presentations, dancing, rope-making, tree planting, etc.
