East Coast Canada
Canada's east coast is as rugged as it is beautiful.
Following the coastline through New Hampshire to the northern tip of Cape Breton Highlands National Park, I sometimes went hours without seeing another human. Surrounded by so much natural beauty human companionship wasn't something I missed very often.
Water views and bird watching were never lacking. My searches for elusive bear and moose had me up before dawn and back to bed well into the night. But nothing, including the wet weather, could dampen my enthusiasm and newfound love for this part of our world.
