Flying Duck Orchids are tiny terrestrial orchids with a single red basal leaf. When they aren't flowering you wouldn't even know they were there. Sometimes, even when they are flowering you might miss them. These small orchids are so full of character and have won my heart.
Using an aluminium plate, this flying duck orchid and the tones were etched into the plate and then inked up. When printing the plate, 100 year old Japanese rice paper was added to give it a truly unique look.
